Overview
Parent Resources Night is a free evening of workshops by local experts who specialize in children and families. Topics will include nutrition, finance, sleep, sibling rivalry and managing your child’s behavior. Complete workshop details are below.

Susan Stone Belton

It is so frustrating when our kids do not listen to us. Even when we use our polite voice, they still don’t listen! Learn what that really means and discover ways to communicate with our kids that will work at every age.

Susan Stone Belton, Coach, Speaker, and Author, is a certified Special Education Teacher with several decades of experience working with children and families. She has presented hundreds of talks to Bay Area groups, focusing on healthy communication and effective discipline for all ages. Susan also coaches individual families in their homes to help them work better as a team.


Treating Childhood Ailments Naturally with Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine

Kimberly Gonsalves is a Certified Positive Discipline Trainer, ICF-accredited coach, and mom of 2 teens.  Her coaching methodology is informed by research-based best practices from the fields of psychology, education, and neuroscience.  In addition to the Adlerian-based Positive Discipline focus, she encourages and support clients in the practice of science-based mindfulness and self-compassion.

Help! My Child Won’t Sleep: Sleep Advice for the Frustrated Parent

When trying to solve children’s sleep problems, there are many options to consider beyond the “cry it out” method. Teresa will talk about a few of the different sleep training methods and offer a some steps to take toward good sleep. Teresa will also discuss a few of the tried and true sleep books and resources regarding the various approaches.

Teresa Morris specializes in sleep consulting and providing guidance in solving behavioral challenges for parents of infants and young children. It is Teresa’s life goal to help parents implement gentle changes that provide a consistent and calming environment that nurtures high functioning, healthy and happy children. In addition to teaching classes, Teresa is available for private consultations.
